Meet The Author

Rev Dr. Julia Fortune, an entrepreneur, educator, health living advisor, an Author. 

She knew about Jesus from a young age, but it wasn‘t until 1984 that she fully embraced the Lord Almighty as her Savior and was baptized. Since then, her walk with the Lord has been strong. She is a curious scholar, teachable and an eager learner.

She holds a Master’s of Science Degree from University of Maryland Global Campus, Master of Arts in Education Technology from California State University, San Jose, California, A Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Theatre Arts from the prestigious University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She was awarded Doctorate Honorary Degree in Ministry by the West African College of Missionary Bishops. 

Julia was ordained a Pastor in 2015 and a Reverend in 2019 by The Overcomers Revival International Church (TORIC) in Lagos, Nigeria. Her passion for the things of God inspired her to learn the Bible, Ministry of the Word, Ministry of Prayers, Ministerial Ethics as well as Prophetic and Revelatory Teachings at the Zoe Ministries School of Prophets, New York for about 4 years.

 In 2007, she leaned heavily on the Lord’s strength after being diagnosed with an advanced cancer. She is an active contributor to several Nigerian social, economic and political platforms. 

She is the founder of Total Body Wellness Foundation (Nigeria) and the General Overseer of “Julia Fortune Global Outreach Ministry” (Nigeria) with the following goals: To offer humanitarian services to the less privileged members of the society in Africa and Worldwide.

 Julia resides in Texas with her spouse, Jay Johnson. She enjoys reading, cooking, latch-hooking, taking long walks with her spouse and devoting attention to her adult children and lending support when needed.
